Forbes publicó un informe titulado “¿Will We Get To The Bottom Of The Truth On Forced Organ Removal In China?” (Llegaremos al fondo de la verdad sobre la extracción forzada de órganos en China) por Ewelina U. Ochab el 21 de marzo de 2019.
Representación de la sustracción forzada de órganos llevada a cabo por el partido comunista chino con la aprobación del estado a practicantes vivos de Falun Dafa el 12 de enero de 2013 en Hong Kong.
El artículo de Forbes comenzó mencionando, la ONU celebra el Día Internacional por el Derecho a la Verdad sobre las graves violaciones de los derechos humanos y por la dignidad de las víctimas.
La autora a continuación describió la sustracción forzada de órganos autorizada por el estado del partido comunista chino (PCCh) a presos de conciencia vivos: “En los últimos años, varios investigadores (entre ellos abogados y periodistas) han planteado el problema de la sustracción forzada de órganos en China, es decir, la práctica ilegal de extirpar órganos de personas que no dieron su consentimiento para ello”.
Continuó diciendo: “A pesar de que China sostiene que actualmente se realizan aproximadamente 10.000 trasplantes de órganos al año en China, todo de acuerdo con la ley, los investigadores sugieren que esto está muy lejos de la verdad. De hecho, los investigadores indican que el número de dichos trasplantes está más cerca de entre 60.000 y 100.000 al año, significativamente más alto que el estimado oficial chino”.
Los autores del delito son funcionarios del PCCh, que actúan en colaboración con cirujanos, autoridades penitenciarias y oficiales militares.
Los investigadores determinaron que la gran mayoría de órganos se obtuvieron mediante la extracción ilegal forzada de órganos a prisioneros de conciencia, incluyendo a practicantes de Falun Dafa, budistas tibetanos, uigures y cristianos de la iglesia local.
Los presos de conciencia mueren a causa de la extracción forzada de órganos, o más exactamente, están siendo asesinados en el proceso.
La sustracción forzada de órganos atrae la atención de muchos países
El informe indica que el problema de la sustracción forzada de órganos recibió cierta atención en el Parlamento Europeo, los Estados Unidos, Canadá, el Reino Unido y muchos otros países. Uno de los retos más importantes es la falta de pruebas, ya que las víctimas de la sustracción forzada de órganos son incineradas.
En el informe se indica además que el Tribunal de China, un tribunal popular independiente, ha comenzado a investigar la cuestión de la sustracción forzada de órganos en China. El tribunal ha escuchado a varios testigos, que han aportado elementos importantes sobre la praxis.
La búsqueda de testigos y pruebas
Una practicante de Falun Dafa que fue encarcelada y torturada durante varios años en China dijo: “A cada practicante de Falun Dafa se le hizo un chequeo médico y un análisis de sangre. Incluso aquellos que habían desarrollado trastornos mentales no estaban exentos”.
“Otros prisioneros que no eran practicantes de Falun Dafa no tuvieron que pasar por esto. En ese momento ya sabía que los chequeos médicos no eran para nuestra salud. Después de los exámenes, descubrí que algunos practicantes habían desaparecido. No sabía adónde fueron…. Nunca supe de los practicantes que fueron transferidos”.
“Comprendí la razón de estas pruebas médicas después de escuchar acerca de la sustracción forzada de órganos a practicantes vivos de Falun Dafa. Entonces entendí la profundidad de su engaño”.
El artículo continuó diciendo que esto no era una declaración aislada, y que exámenes médicos similares fueron presenciados por otros practicantes de Falun Dafa.
El Tribunal de China está buscando más testigos y pruebas, y tiene previsto dictar su sentencia definitiva en junio.
El artículo afirmaba que los parlamentarios del Reino Unido también tomaron medidas basadas en la información sobre el tema y pedía al gobierno del Reino Unido que tomara medidas e investigara el asunto.
Se espera que “el trabajo realizado por el Tribunal de China y los parlamentarios del Reino Unido pueda arrojar más luz sobre la situación de los presos de conciencia en China y de esta forma honrar la memoria de las víctimas”.
