La prisión para mujeres de la provincia de Jilin comenzó una intensa campaña en contra las practicantes de Falun Dafa en mayo de 2018, colocándolas en una “brigada de disciplina”.
No permiten visitas familiares ni llamadas telefónicas. No permiten que las practicantes compren alimentos. El gasto mensual se ha limitado a 20 yuanes. Las practicantes han sido forzadas a sentarse en bancos diminutos desde las 5 a. m. hasta las 9 a. m. Si las practicantes aceptaban dejar de practicar y escribían una “declaración de garantía”, la familia podía visitarla de inmediato.Durante la campaña de 100 días, muchas practicantes fueron brutalmente torturadas
La prisión de mujeres de la provincia de Jilin también se llama prisión de mujeres de Heizuizi de Changchun, y es conocida por utilizar la tortura para inducir a las practicantes a abandonar su creencia. Jia Dingxin y Wu Zeyun, exdirectores de la prisión, establecieron pabellones especialmente designados para perseguir a las practicantes.
